The Centro Federal Penitenciario de Cuyo is a 48,540 m² project with three different levels destined to house inmates. The project is designed in accordance with the master plan and aims to restrict the punitive measurements over the population as the inmate serves its time, reducing the differences between the life in prison and the life on the streets.
CorbisStudio scope included the complete BIM modeling of the architectural components and the modular cell. Working together with the GC we helped anticipate coordination problems and improve the building process with the digital prototype of the different cell configurations. We also developed consultants models to perform clash detection and coordination. Basic take-offs were taken from the BIM models for early cost-projection.
