The Project: BLVD Heights Residential Tower

Project Description

BLVD Heights is a Residential project located in the city of Dubai, the United Arab Emirates in the Middle East. This project rises alongside Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Boulevard across from The Opera District. This twin-tower, residential development features 492 apartments and is located in the heart of Downtown Dubai. All facets of the complex are designed to exude an aura of ultimate luxury, modern elegance and urban relaxation. Floor-to-ceiling windows enhance the feeling of space and light while the combination of subtle colors and textured surfaces ensure a luxurious finish. The physical connection to the street allows residents to seamlessly settle into the surrounding urban reality, maximizing the shopping, dining and cultural offerings of the neighborhood, including The Dubai Mall, Souk Al Bahar and the Dubai Opera. The building is also just a 10-minute walk away from the iconic Burj-Khalifa as well as a 10-minute drive away from the Dubai International Airport. From BLVD Heights’ windows, you get stunning views across Downtown Dubai and the vibrant city beyond. It is here where Dubai’s most spectacular urban sunsets take place in a refined, soul-soothing setting. The project’s completion is scheduled for 4 December 2019.

Scope of work

The scope of work required will cover all items necessary to complete the related works for a Virtual Model and Coordination for the BLVD Heights Towers. CorbisStudio’s scope of work will cover the production of a BIM model of the project from the Schematic Design stage through to the end of the Detailed Design Development stage. The Design development documentation drawings covered the Architecture discipline. The BIM Model supplied by our studio was to be prepared geometrically accurate as per industry standards and information available, free of clashes for the tolerances set in the BEP (BIM Execution Plan), and include all specified building systems and disciplines as coordinated with the client’s team. As part of our scope of work, our team led coordination and cooperation to cover protocols and Guidelines for Coordination and procedures. A BIM Coordination and Execution Plan was provided to create and manage systems and drawing naming conventions, file folder management, and file setup.
