The Project: Abu Dhabi Islamic Bank HQ

Project Description

This is one of the High-Rise Tower Office projects we participated in the United Arab Emirates. Located on the old airport road leading to Abu Dhabi City, the development was conceived with the intention of housing the Headquarters of the Abu Dhabi Islamic Bank (ADIB). The project has a total area of 60,000 square meters above grade and 40,000 sqm four-level basement car parking. The Abu Dhabi Islamic Bank will be the anchor tenant occupying one complete tower with a total GFA of approx 22,000 square meters. The development comprises of two identical but mirrored 14 story commercial towers above 4 levels of basement. Each tower has Ground, Mezzanine and 12 office floors connected centrally by a shared Atrium space which serves as the main entrance to the development. The Abu Dhabi Islamic Bank headquarters occupy in its entirety one of the towers with parts of the ground floor and associated shared atria/entrances. The basement area accounts for 39500 m2, the ground floor for 5000 m2, the offices for 48000m2 and the technical level for 4000 m2 (all of this adds up to a total area of 96500 m2).

Scope of work

Our studio’s involvement in the Abu Dhabi Islamic Bank project took place during the Construction Drawings and Schematic Design phases. It was carried out through Autodesk's REVIT and AutoCAD BIM models. CorbisStudio scope of work included the production of tender drawings. We lead the development of the sheets according to the received index.
