Project Description

The New Children Hospital, also known as Perth Children Hospital, is one of the architectural Health Care projects we have worked on in Australia. The $1.2 billion It consisted of a low rise type of building with a gross floor area of 165,000 sq. mt. (1,776,045 sq. ft.). The Perth Children Hospital located in 128 Hay ST. Subiaco, WA. will deliver a replacement for the aging Princess Margaret hospital facility as Western Australia’s specialist pediatric hospital and trauma center, providing medical care to children and adolescents up to 16 years of age. It will be located on the Queen Elizabeth II Medical Centre campus, adjacent to the Sir Charles Gairdner Hospital and supported by the Central Energy Plant. The 298-bed hospital provides treatment for the most serious medical cases, as well as secondary services including inpatient, outpatient, and day-stay care. Located opposite to Kings Park, a protected A Class Reserve of 400 hectares in the heart of Perth, PCH will join an elite group of the world’s leading international pediatric facilities when it opens in 2018.

Scope of work

Our Integrating Project Management and Delivery studio provided support in architectural Construction Drawings production. Our BIM specialist team of qualified architects and engineers worked in the new Perth Children Hospital BIM model production and coordination following our standard process of Project Delivery.
