The Hawken Engineering Building, located at the University of Queensland in St Lucia campus in Brisbane, Australia, underwent an interior remodeling project on Level 4. This project involved redesigning the office layout to create a flexible, open-plan work area while incorporating a notational workstation layout. The primary goal of the makeover was to create a more efficient and dynamic workspace, with an emphasis on improving cooperation and productivity. The project intended to change the workplace area into an engaging setting that stimulates creativity and invention, in addition to a cosmetic upgrading of finishes. The design considered the needs of academics, researchers, and staff, with the goal of providing an appropriate work environment to support their educational and research pursuits.
