LOD 300 is the conclusion of an Executive Project, where the detail level necessary to start construction is achieved. Also, the different engineering involved is coordinated to minimize the impact of difficulties in the building process.
On LOD 350 calculation, budget, and construction schedule are incorporated to simulate the construction process and cash-flow. It may include details of fabrication of certain components.
And finally, LOD 400 is a model developed by design teams to provide support in the facility management, operation, and maintenance. Previous models can be simplified or a geometrically simplified brand new model could be generated. These will have a high load of information about products, systems, and necessary documentation.
