The project consists of a mixed-use complex with 352,000 sq. ft. office space, 150 retail shops, 123 restaurants, and a 97,000 sq. ft. multiplex cinema. Town Square was the most significant commercial development in the US at its inception time. Town Square is owned by Plant Holdings North America, Inc. with TSLV LLC and managed by Fairbourne Properties, LLC, and encompasses 1.2 million square feet of retail and 352,000 square feet of office space. The center opened to the public on November 14, 2007. The ground was broken in May 2005 by Marnell Corrao Associates, the project contractor. Town Square was designed by Development Design Group, Alan J. Mayer Architect, and Marnell Corrao. Corbis participated by managing the early versions of BIM models and providing support in the Architectural Production of Construction Drawings. Town Square's southeastern portion was previously occupied by the Vacation Village hotel and casino.
Corbis created and managed the ADT (Architectural Desktop) model for the project, using early BIM concepts to build the model and extract the drawings. Our team scope of work included five buildings, shell and core, and basic interior design of public spaces, retail/lease lines drawings, and area calculations. In addition, we had one architect providing on-site coordination at the client's office during the whole project duration, working as a liaison with the Corbis production off-site team and the client's team.
