This project, located in Carson, CA, is a commercial mixed-use development and it consists of a new ground-up development of a retail shopping mall. Fashion Outlets Los Angeles, also known as Los Angeles Premium Outlets, is developed by the Macerich Company, one of the US leading owners, operators, and developers of retail and Simon, a leader in premier shopping, dining, entertainment, and mixed-use destinations. The exact location of this 650,000 sq. ft. building is at SEC Stamps Drive and Del Amo Blvd. minutes away from downtown Los Angeles. It will be also located just 11 miles from LAX, the US second-busiest airport. It is destined to attract the most affluent local residents and international tourists, Los Angeles Premium Outlets will have 2,500 lineal feet of frontage on the high-traffic I-405 Freeway, with 300,000 cars passing each day. Additionally, 215,000 cars pass the site daily on the I-110 Freeway.
Our studio provided remote BIM modeling services, using Revit 2017 software. But our scope also included sheet set up, details and schedules via AutoDesk A360 for a duration of approximately 2.5 weeks. Our professional team of architects and engineers was in charge of delivering LOD 300 Models for the Design Development and Construction Drawings stages. LOD definition is according to AIA Contract Document G202-2013, Building Information Modeling Protocol Form. We worked on the Architectural Shell and Core and other areas of Fashion Outlets Los Angeles.
