The Project: Santa Clara Square

Project Description

Santa Clara Square is a 90-acre mixed-use and residential project developed by the Irvine Company and located in Santa Clara, CA (Silicon Valley). The project offers an infill, mixed-use residential development project that consists of rental apartment units to be developed in 8 apartment complexes located between Bowers Avenue and San Tomas Aquino Creek, near Levi’s Stadium. The project includes parking garages as part of each residential complex. The retail component of the proposed apartment neighborhood will add approximately 40,000 sq. ft. of retail to the previously signed 125,000 sq. ft. adjacent retail center. The project also includes approximately 4,500 sq. ft. of leasing space, and roughly 38,000 sq. ft. of amenity space. The retail center is about 125,000 square feet of specialty retail space, with a major anchor tenant grocery, sit down restaurants and boutiques. Office Phase II and III provide for the development of an office campus totaling no more than 1,243,300 square feet of office space in five 6-8 story office buildings, plus amenity buildings.

Scope of work

CorbisStudio provided remote support for the creation of Design Development and Construction Documentation for the Santa Clara Project. The team size and composition was adapted to the project needs and phases. Our team of architects and engineers were in charge of creating the Revit models for Building 6; Building 7, one model per unit type (20 units total). Furthermore, we led the setup views and sheets corresponding to the Site Plan, Floor Plans (including room names and modeling the grid-lines). Besides, we worked on the area plans + schedules, unit plans, cover sheet, code sheet, building sections (4 per building), building data matrix, all exterior elevations including courtyard elevations, and the roof plan.
